Richard Newton-Chance

Richard Newton Chance was Principal of Queen Elizabeth’s in Crediton, Devon, a large 11-18 state boarding school, until August 2014. Since then he has taken up the role of Funding Specialist with the Association of School and College Leaders.

He trained as an English teacher, but became an IT specialist along the way and retains a fascination for how technology can enhance the business of education.  He has always been interested in how children learn and has become fascinated by the developing scientific understanding of the process of learning, hence his membership of Learnus.
