Jennifer Buster

Jennifer Buster is the Assistant Director of Learning at St Mary Magdalene Academy where she steers the Inspire Programme - a series of projects and Masterclasses that support the needs of exceptional students at the Academy.

As a UCL IOE Confucius Classroom Manager, Jennifer also leads on the growth and development of Mandarin at the Academy and feeder schools, successfully embedding the language into the schools’ curriculum with outstanding GCSE and IB results, whilst developing rewarding links with partner schools in Chongqing and Beijing, China.

Jennifer spent most of her childhood and formative years in Singapore; of American-Chinese heritage, she is a proficient speaker of Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Malay. Recently awarded an MA in Educational Leadership from University of Warwick, Jennifer looks set to continue to make waves in the development of Mandarin in the United Kingdom
