Dame Rachel de Souza

Dame Rachel de Souza, who has a growing reputation for her work in transforming education, is Chief Executive of the Inspiration Trust, a family of 10 schools across East Anglia.

She previously transformed two failing schools with each school - one in Luton, one in Norwich - rated "outstanding" by Ofsted within three years. Her first Academy was named England's most improved school in 2007-2010. Her second achieved 37% improvement in GCSE 5A*-Cs including English and Maths in three years.

She was made a Dame in 2014 for services to education.

She is a frequent speaker at education seminars and conferences and is in demand as a commentator by the media.
