After reading Daughters of Shame, aged 14, Arifa joined the fight against FGM, Forced Marriage and Honour Based Violence. With a group of friends in year 11 she initiated a campaign at my school, raising funds and awareness.

She is currently balancing studying for my A Levels and giving talks to continue raising awareness for my campaign, and hopes to study Politics and International relations, following her gap year next year.
